Relax under skilful hands to the soothing sounds of the ocean on the decks of Wylie’s Baths…
Our outdoors massage at Wylies Baths is our Summer specialty and the ultimate holiday experience. From November through April, these treatments are performed on the deck above the ocean pool, under a marquee, literally “by the sea”, at the stunning Wylie’s Baths in Coogee.
Outdoor Treatments and Pregnancy Massage
Outdoor treatments include remedial, Swedish-relaxation, sports and pregnancy massage. When booking choose “outdoor massage”. Please call us to book a pregnancy massage at Wylie’s. A pregnancy massage cushion is available, however for those in later weeks, the side-lying position may be adopted. First trimester pregnancy massage is not available at Wylie’s Baths.
Outdoor Massage Procedures
The outdoors treatments take place out of the sun under a marquee, on the deck overlooking the ocean. Please wear or bring your bathing suit to your appointment. If you have a swim, please ensure that you rinse and dry yourself prior to your massage as we want you to be warm and comfortable during your treatment. You will always be professionally draped during your treatment.
Wet Weather Procedures
In the case of bad weather, we will contact you to re-schedule your treatment to our indoor centre where possible or to another time outdoors. MBTS reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to bad weather at our discretion. Please note there is a separate $5.50 entry fee to the Bath’s ($3 if you are not swimming – let the kiosk staff know).
Please note Wylie’s Baths is a public place, and whilst MBTS has a designated, separated space on the deck, it is still essentially an open environment. Therefore, as well as hearing the ocean waves, the wind and the birds, you may also sometimes hear other Wylie’s baths patrons going about their activities at the pool which we have no control over. Yoga classes are periodically held, usually in the mornings, beside the massage space. Please click here to check yoga schedules if this would be a concern to you.
