I have been a client of Massage by the Sea for 5+ years and have regular appointments with Blaise. I cannot speak highly enough of Blaise. She is very considered in how she approaches each massage, listening to my thoughts and concerns. She is passionate about her work, which is obvious through her advanced knowledge and many qualifications. Because I trust her knowledge and expertise so much, I often walk in and just ask Blaise to find the trouble areas and allow her to spend the time as she thinks is best. I always leave my appointment feeling better than when I walked in.

Hi, I just wanted to touch base as I just finished a pregnancy remedial massage with Sam.
I cannot stress enough how brilliant it was, so much so I fell asleep!
I am at the end of my pregnancy now and frustrated with myself that I hadn't got a massage earlier.

What a find! On a recent holiday, while staying in a cool heritage house B&B in Clovelly, and on my way to the fabulous Gordons for breakfast I walked passed an unassuming shop window, which I thought said ‘Massage by Theresa’ Why not? thought I, long haul travel leaves one rather out of sorts. Imagine my surprise when I was offered an appointment with Mark. Is Theresa on holiday then? No? Okay, but I thought it was funny. So I booked a massage and facial for the following day. Now I have had a few massages/facials in London, where, prior to treatment my feet have been cleansed and dried by dimmed light with accompanying crashing wave music filling the silence, heady scented oils and a feeling of other-worldliness. And I enjoyed the experiences very much. There are no such contrivances at Massagebythesea. Its the real deal. The room is warm, enclosed with white muslin ceiling drapes like a Mughal tent, and the treatment has to be the best I have ever enjoyed. As a woman of a certain age I was somewhat apprehensive, but Mark was amazing. My appointment was on time, Mark discussed any ailments or pressure sensitivity and afterwards I felt like a new woman. It wasn’t just a ‘massage’ but a restorative therapy. I had another a few weeks later before my long haul home. If you want the sounds of crashing waves music, you can have the real thing as massagebythesea has a summertime pitch down at Coogee beach. Thanks Mark. Great experience.

10 years ago I had a brain tumour removed, and was left with very bad muscle tension headaches. Pain relief medication only worked for a little while so I decided to try a more holistic treatment. So for 10 years I have been a regular massage client at many massage studios.
Six years ago I came to Coogee and there are many places to get a massage here, but I found Massage by the sea. I can honestly recommend them to anyone wanting to have a massage. Shareen and the team there are fantastic. When the weather is nice, Wylies Baths is a great place, as you can hear the ocean as you get massaged, but the Centre in Havelock Avenue is also great (no matter what the weather).
After 6 years of regular massages with Massage by the sea I can say that, not only my physical body is feeling better, but also my soul.
